COVID-19 UPDATE
Here at Waterford, out top priority is the health and well being of our Residents, Staff and guests. Upon arrival of our Guests, you will be asked to register your visit by filling in the Covid-19 declaration, please use the hand sanitisers and acknowledge social distancing during your stay, to help protect all of us.
To date, we are not aware of anyone affected by the Coronavirus within our Village - Residents, Staff, Guests or our Contractors.
There are no specific restrictions for people over 70 about self-isolating or staying home. You can choose when you go out, where you visit and when to have visitors. However NSW Health advised that people over 70 are at greater risk of more severe symptoms if they are infected with COVID-19.
This means you may want to be more cautious about who you choose to see and where you choose to go. However, if you or someone near you is feeling unwell or has even mild symptom, NSW Health advice is that you stay home and get tested.
NSW Chief Officer, Dr Kerry Chant strongly recommends wearing a face mask f it is hard to maintain 1.5 metres of physical distance from others.
